Half up braided back and Braided bun

I have been seeing this type of hair style all over Instagram for a long time now, and I finally was able to do it on my sister.I think it seems great for summer and we are visiting my grandparents in sunny Florida so it was similar to us. I also see this great for school or work, you can still feel girly with you hair down, but it is still a half up hairstyle to hide grease and/or keep hair out of your face.img_5277-2

Step 1:

Part the hair just on the top front area of the head. Tie the rest of the hair not in that section into a low bun to keep it out of the way.

Step 2:

Lay one-third of the hair one way and the rest the other way. Start a dutch braid back and keep going until the end of all that hair and hold the end together with a bobby pin or hair tie.

Step 3:

Flip to the other side and take half of the rest of the hair, lay the middle section over what you just did so you can work on the other outside. This order makes it a lot easier to me. When you finish that you can dutch braid the middle section the same way.

Step 4:

Now you have all three braids, braid them together then coil it into a bun at the end of the top of the head or where ever you decided to end the braids. Bobby pin or tie off with a hair tie.

Step 5:

Release the rest of the hair and style how you want and then you’re done!

I hope this helped you do this Instagram style or gave you some inspiration. I think it is a super cute look for anyone.Happy Holidays!
